Ahead of the women’s figure skating short program today, Taylor Swift surprised fans by narrating a cinematic hype video for Team USA. The clip, which introduces the trio of skaters known as the “Blade Angels,” immediately went viral on social media.
Set to her latest hit single “Opalite,“ the video proves that Swift might have a future career in sports broadcasting.

In her dramatic narration, Swift dubbed the trio the Taylor Swift Blade Angels, a nickname that has now officially stuck. She opened the clip with a line that sent fans into a frenzy: “Ladies and gentlemen, I’d like to introduce you to Amber, Alysa, and Isabeau. Three American showgirls on ice”.
She then gave each skater a specific, emotional introduction:
Amber Glenn: Swift noted that her superpower is “embracing the fight” and daring the world to test her self-belief.

The Taylor Swift Blade Angels video didn’t just hype up the Olympics; it started a new conversation about Swift’s voice.
